Fernor walnut is highly fertile.
It yields 20-25 kg of walnuts per tree between the ages 5-7, 60-80 kg of walnuts per tree between the ages 9-10, and 90-150 kg of walnuts per tree between the ages 15-20. Its fruits take hold in 2s and 4s. It has a thin shell. It is easy to break, and core out. It is quite appropriate for cold seasons. It would be appropriate to plant it in places with an altitude that is up to 1200-1700 meters above sea level.
